One mountain. Seven problems. How far will your imagination take you?

Some objects to consider. Pick one to fill your answer box.
Follow your hiker up the trail.
Seven encounters follow your day on Crooked Peak. Each accepted answer earns 10, 20, 50, 75, or 100 points and 1–5 supplies. Every point moves you 10 meters upward. Only 700 points reaches the summit.
Points appear immediately in a borderless reveal. Higher tiers darken the scenery more and have their own reward sound. Positive scores take you to a new stretch of trail. A pass or timeout scores zero: you stay still and the scenery does not change. Exact altitude follows your points. At the end, drive your flag into the ground at your actual elevation.
Each question has 45 seconds. The clock stops during rewards and travel. When it expires, you score zero; text you have only typed or corrected is never automatically submitted. There are no suggestion popups. After a short typing pause, a clear single correction may replace the text inside your answer box. Exact accepted answers are never upgraded. Review the correction and press Submit yourself; Undo restores your original wording. If Submit first corrects a typo, press Submit again to score it. Unknown answers may be good ideas, but this prototype only scores its curated bank. You can retry freely or pass for zero.
Gear is a visual reward and does not change scores. Your daily progress saves on this device; practice preserves the daily result. The beta rotates six authored sets of seven questions. A new trail opens at midnight America/Denver. The archive starts on 2026-11-04; sets repeat every six days while more questions are added. Pick a date to play its own question set; after finishing, use Start a practice climb to replay that edition without changing its daily result.
The report compares you with an explicitly simulated cohort of 1000 runs. There are no real player statistics yet. All accepted objects and aliases are listed after your climb. The +20 tier has the most answers. +75 is next, with +50 nearly equal (sometimes tied). Only 1–15 obvious choices earn +10, and 1–10 exceptional objects earn +100. These are authored cleverness tiers, not measured answer popularity. Previously earned scores stay unchanged. All essential conditions appear in the main question; the trail story is optional.
Open Settings for master volume, separate background and effect levels, and gentle motion. Settings are saved on this device. The clock keeps running while settings or field notes are open during a question.
The latest 500 submitted guesses, including misses and corrections, stay on this device. No keystrokes are tracked and nothing is uploaded. Copy this notebook into our chat for a logic review; it does not automatically change the answer bank. Past rejected guesses from before this update cannot be recovered.
Fictional adventure, not a survival simulator. Use your device’s reduced-motion setting for gentler transitions. About this beta, local saves & audio credits
Bell curve fitted to the mean and spread of 1000 simulated runs. This is an illustrative model, not measured player data; the percentile above uses the simulated scores themselves.
Disables camera shake and particles, and skips travel animations. Your device’s reduced-motion preference is also respected. Peaceful ambience continues on the home, flag and report screens. Bird calls only play in green areas.
During a question, the 45-second timer keeps running here.

One new cosmetic. No duplicates. No real-money purchases.
Each eligible unowned item has an equal chance. Anomaly is the rarest tier in each category.
Daily coins: 25 + 1 per 5 points, plus 35 for a perfect summit. Each date pays once; practice never pays.
